Orchard Early Learning Centre Website Design & Development

A scalable website built to support growing childcare centres

Orchard Early Learning Centre operates multiple childcare and daycare locations across Sydney. Their existing website had been built in house using Squarespace, which created significant limitations as the organisation grew.

While functional at a basic level, the site was restricted by rigid layouts and platform constraints. The brand was not being represented clearly, and the user experience fell short of parent expectations.

The Challenge

Parents reported difficulty using the website, particularly on mobile devices. Forms were unreliable, booking centre tours was challenging, and contacting individual centres was not intuitive.

From an internal perspective, staff struggled to manage and present important information such as policies, fee structures and centre specific details across multiple locations.

Our Approach

We approached the project with a strong focus on usability, clarity and scalability. Understanding the needs of both parents and staff was essential, particularly for families researching childcare options and centres managing day to day enquiries.

The goal was to create a website that reflected the Orchard Early Learning Centre brand while making it easy to navigate, simple to update and capable of supporting multiple locations.

The Solution

We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress website tailored to Orchard’s operational needs. Each centre was given its own dedicated area with location specific information, making it easier for families to find the centre that suited them best.

The site was structured to clearly present key information including enrolment details, policies and fee information. Mobile usability was prioritised, with streamlined forms and clear pathways to book tours or contact individual centres.

The Outcome

The new website significantly improved user experience across all devices. Parents were able to easily enquire, book tours and access the information they needed, while staff gained a more manageable and flexible platform.

Conversion rates increased, and families were better supported in finding a local daycare they felt confident becoming part of.
